Traveling in the USA

I've truly enjoyed visiting the US on numerous road trips. The country has a huge variety of stunning landscapes that change rapidly, as you drive along the seemingly endless highways. Having grown up in Europa, I admire the vast open spaces of the country. 

Arizona and Utah have left an especially big impression to me. I love the rugged dry desert landscape of Arizona with all it's cactuses. Visiting some of the big five national parks in Utah, felt like being on mars. The landscape seemed endless and the rock formations out of this world. 

Completely different but not less impressive was the Yellowstone National Park, which is located mostly in Wyoming. The sulfur pools and it's color combinations left such an impression on me, that inspired me to create two art pieces.
